4 Days 3 Nights Raja Ampat - Kabui and Panemu Island
DAY 1 Sorong, Wasai
Upon your arrival at Sorong’s Domine Edward OsokAirport, collect your luggage then proceed to the arrival hall where you will be met by
BIH representative for your private transfer to the ferry port where you will board the public ferry to Waisai (Raja Ampat’s Capital), approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Waisai, you will be transferred by a speedboat to your lodge. A journey of approximately 50 minutes away. Check in to your lodge and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. (Lunch and dinner provided).
DAY 2 Kabui Bay, Batu Pensil, Pianemo, Telaga Bintang, Arborek, Yenbuba, Pasir Timbul
Today you will start exploring the pristine paradise of the most eastern part of Indonesia. For underwater junkie, Raja Ampat certainly offers world’s ultimate experience for its biodiversity. It is the home of 540 kinds of corals, 700 kinds of mollusks, and more than 1000 kinds of coral fish. About 75% of worlds species can be found here make Raja Ampat most varied living library for underwater biota and coral reef in the world.
After breakfast, the tour starts with a fun ride by speedboat to Kabui passage. Here you get the chance to view groups of coral islands of different sizes. Enjoy the spectacular beauty of these coral islands nestled in the bluest of blue waters. Next, you will visit Batu Pensil, a pencil-shaped giant stone. Continue on to Pianemo also known as penemu Island. The island is pretty similar to the famous Wayag Island, just a little smaller. The rock isles amid the bright blue sky and clear blue water is certainly one of most beautiful views on earth. You will do a short hike up a hill through hard sharp coral rocks so make sure to bring along your shoes. Afterwards, you will head to Telaga Bintang which is not far from Pianemo Island for another short hike. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the green tosca lake from the top.
Enough of trekking for today, you will be taken to Arborek where you will do snorkeling and visit the local village. This is your chance to purchase some locally made handicraft. Afterwards you will be taken to different snorkeling spots, Yenbuba and Pasir Timbul. Pasir Timbul is unarguably one of the best snorkeling sites in Raja Ampat. Once the tour has finished, you will be transferred back to your lodge.
DAY 3 Batu Lima, Freewen Bonda, Friwen Beach, Mioskon, Sorong City Tour
After breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby then head out to Freewen Bonda for snorkeling. Continue on to Friwen Beach. Next, you will visit Mioskon, known as Bat Island.
Back to the lodge for lunch and check-out. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Wasai for your ferry transfer to Sorong. Upon arrival in Sorong, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Check in to your room and take some time to freshen up before you late afternoon city tour.
At around 16.00 you will be taken around the city, do some shopping and then have some dinner at a famous local restaurant called Tembok Berlin. Once the dinner has finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
DAY 4 Transfer Out
After checking out, you will be met by your driver in the hotel lobby for your private transfer to the airport, in time for your next flight out.
Additional Option: extend another day to visit WAYAG ISLAND
Weather and sea conditions permitting, we can tentatively offer as an option the opportunity to visit Wayag Island. This island is famous for its beautiful atolls as well as its amazing underwater life, which covers a total of 155,000 hectares (or 383,013.3 acres). On Wayag Island, you will find pristine beaches with the unique Karst islands, which resemble mushrooms that sprout from the sea. The clear blue waters ofWayag Island provide a windows view to the flora and fauna that live in the ocean here. It is a 3 hour journey by speedboat to get here, and there will be additional costs for the boat transport and parking, and local island entrance fee. You can request to take this tour either as part of the standard tour package in lieu of Day 2 or 3, or you can stay an additional day at the Lodge.
