Explore the island of Alor, a hidden gem known for its stunning natural beauty both seascape and landscape, and vibrant culture. The island is inhabited by a number of ethnic groups that are still preserving their traditional ways of life.

In this 4-day trip, you will explore the best attractions in Alor, including snorkelling in turquoise crystal-clear waters surrounded by pristine coral reefs, exploring some pristine white sand beaches with idyllic palm-lined in the background, and driving up the towering hill for the best sunset on Alor Island. You will also get to visit the Abui tribes, who still carry on the same traditional lifestyle as their ancestors’. This is the only Alor Tour you need to explore the highlights of Alor.

Itinerary:

 

Day 01: Arrival on Alor Island – Takpala Vilage – Sikka Island – Batu Putih Beach – Deree Beach

Upon arrival, make your way to the arrival hall where you will be met by BIH representative for your private transfer to your hote for check-in. After settling into your room, commence your first day tour on Alor Island. Head out to visit Takpala Vilage to see the original Alorese people. Afterwards, take a traditional boat ride to Sikka Island to see dugongs. Take lunch at the local restaurant before going to Batu Putih Beach and Deree Beach for sunset. Dinner at a local restaurant, then transfer back to the hotel.

Day 02: Alor Besar Village – Sebanjar Beach – Kokar fishermen village – Aimoli Village

After breakfast, meet your guide and head to Alor Besar Village, where you will find a 12th-century Quran, Al Quaran Tua, made of bark and the fundamentals of the seeding of Islam beliefs in the Alor archipelago. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at Sebanjar Beach, a long stretch of white-sand beach with a stunning view. After lunch and spending some time on the beach, continue on the trip to Kokar fishermen village. Visit Aimoli Beach for some of the best sunset views on the island. Dinner at a local restaurant, then head back to the hotel.

Day 03:  Terrnate Island – Kepa Island – Pura Island – Bukit Hulnani

After breakfast, you will be taken to the harbour where you will take a traditional boat to Terrnate Island for snorkelling and visit the local village, which is known for its traditional Ikat weaving. Visit Kepa Island, a small, beautiful island located just a stone’s throw away across the water from Alor Kecil. A lunch box will be provided today. Afterwards, visit Pura Island for snorkelling, then visit the village to see Sopi making process (local alcohol). Both snorkelling spots we are taking you to today are surrounded by shallow reefs, offering an endless variety of remarkable coral reef vistas that host a number of fascinating marine life.

We save the best for last, enjoy the spectacular sunset views of the Alor archipelago bathed in the golden sunset from Bukit Hulnani. Situated the highest peak of Bedoe Hill, Bukit Hulnani offers the best sunset views overlooking the Ternate, Pura, and Pantar islands, along with Mount Sirung. Upon conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 04: Departure

After breakfast and checking out, you will be privately transferred to the airport, in time for your flight out or onward fight. Your Alor Tour ends here.
