Check in to your room and take some time to freshen up before commencing your half-day tour to Rangko Cave. Head to Tanjung Boleng where you will take a traditional boat to the cave area. The  30-minute boat ride followed by a short trek will take you to the beautiful Goa Rangko. Bring wet slippers and swimsuit if you wish to swim in the natural blue pool inside the cave. Day 2: Labuan Bajo – Wae Rebo Village

Following an early breakfast and check-out, meet your guide in the lobby and head to Denge Village. The drive takes approximately 5 hours’ drive excluding lunch break. Denge Village is the starting point of your trek and it takes around 2-3 hours to get to Wae Rebo Village (depending on your physical conditions). Witness the locals’ daily life and how the ancient traditions are preserved in cone-shaped houses at the elevation of 1200m above sea level.

There will be a simple welcome ceremony and blessings for your short stay at the village. The head of the village will then show you around and give you brief information about the history the village. Please note that there is no internet reception, electricity, and the village is accessible on foot only. You will dine and spend the night under one roof with the Wae Rebo community, sleeping on a handwoven pandanus mat. Bring along some mosquito repellent.
