Just a 35-minute flight east from Bali, the island of Lombok has become a more and more popular holiday destination. The island offers stretches of powdery white-sand beaches, a lush landscape, soaring volcanoes, and tumbling waterfalls. Whether you’re planning a family holiday or a romantic getaway for two, Lombok is suitable for every type of traveler.
Just off the coast of Lombok, the Gili Islands consist of three charming little islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Gili Meno. The islands are the epitome of a tropical paradise, offering a laid-back atmosphere with beachside restaurants, cafes, and bars. While excellent diving and snorkelling are inarguably the main attractions, there are various activities available you can explore. These includes stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, island hopping, fishing, and sunset cruising.
Throughout your Lombok and Gili Islands Holiday, you will enjoy beach hopping to some of the best beaches in Lombok , trekking to the waterfalls, island hopping, and snorkeling.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Selong Belanak Beach – Mawun Beach – Merese Hills – Tanjung Ann
Upon arrival at Lombok Airport, collect your luggage then proceed to the arrival hall where you will be met by a BIH representative for your private transfer to your hotel. After settling into your hotel and freshening up, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and commence your afternoon tour. Today you will visit the stunning Selong Belanak Beach, famous for its stunning powdery white-sand beach with wide coast facing Indian Ocean. The water is calm and undisturbed by pebbles stone and coral make it suitable for family with kids. And don’t worry for the wave seekers, there are some spots which is good for surfing.
Continue on the trip to Mawun Beach, a secluded bay with a curved shoreline resembling half-moon with pristine sandy beach and the crystal-clear water. Next, visit Tanjung Ann beach, another wonderful beach with smooth turquoise water and pepper-sand. If time permits, you may do a short hike to Marese Hill for sunset. Upon conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel. Overnight at Kuta hotel.
Day 2: Benang Setokel – Benang Kelambu Waterfalls – Sada Village
Following breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby then head out to two of most beautiful waterfalls in Lombok; Benang Setokel and Benang Kelambu Waterfalls. These waterfalls are located in central of Lombok and require moderate trek. You will first visit Benang Setokel Waterfalls which is located about 10 minutes’ walk downhill from the entrance. Benang Setokel Waterfalls is 20 meters high covered with green lush vegetation and there lies a small pool / valley where you can swim beneath the waterfalls.
Venture further to Benang Kelambu Waterfalls which is about 1km away from Benang Setokel. Benang Kelambu is wider than Benang Setokel and is around 35 meters high. The water falls through the plants on top of the cliff resulting a fascinating scenery like a hanging curtain. There is a big pond underneath where you can have a swim while taking in the the beauty of the waterfalls and area surrounding. On the way back we will visit Sada traditional village. Overnight at Kuta hotel.
Day 3: Kuta – Gili Islands
After breakfast and checking out, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your private transfer to Bangsal Harbour, which is aprroximately 2 hours away. A short boat ride will take you to the Gili Islands, located off the northwest of Lombok Island. Gili Islands consist of Gili Terawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. These islands are pretty laid-back with countless restaurants, beachside bars and cafes along the beach. Although you won’t see any vehicle on the Gili Islands, all the trendy bars, restaurants, and the white sand beach are only within walking distance. For those who don’t like to walk, you can hire a bicycle or horse carriage to explore the islands.
Gili Terawangan is the biggest and most populated island compared to the other two islands with population around 800 people. The most famous spot on Gili Terawangan island is the beach that’s facing to the east and the other side facing to the west so you can see both sunrise and sunset from the same beach. Gili Terawangan, widely known as Gilli T is more known as a party island for its beach clubs, bars and the party scene. And those who are seeking for more quiet place and local character would stay on either Gili Meno or Gili Air. Let us know where you prefer to stay.
Day 4: Snorkeling at Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air
Embark on an unforgettable snorkelling experiences exploring the underwater biodiversity of Gili Islands. Discover the vibrant underwater kingdom teeming with colourful coral reefs and exotic marine life accompanied by an expert guide.
Indulge in a delectable lunch on one of the islands (at your own cost and payable onsite) in between the snorkelling trips. Afterwards continue on your island-hopping journey to explore the unique charm of each Gili Island or relax on pristine sandy beaches.
Day 5: Day at leisure on Gili Island
You have today free at leisure to relax and enjoy all the islands have to offer. Suggested activities include (subject to an additional cost):

DAY 6: Gili Island – Bali
Enjoy the remainder of your stay before heading back to Bali on a speedboat. You Lombok and Gili Islands Holiday ends here.
