Nusa Islands Trip

Nusa Islands Tour
Description:

The Nusa Islands are situated just off the coast of mainland Bali. They consist of three islands: Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan. A visit to Bali isn’t complete without without exploring at least one of these stunning islands. Nusa Penida is known for its row beauty, while Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan offer a more laid-back atmosphere. BIH offers a wide range of activities and  handpicked selections of accommodations so you can experience the best that the Islands have to offer.

Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida is the largest amongst the three islands which sits right next to Nusa Ceningan. It has strong cultural influences, with many unique and beautiful Hindu temples. It is also home to a jaw-dropping landscape featuring dramatic cliffs, white-sand beaches with palm trees lapped by crystal-clear blue water, and fascinating natural pools and caves.

Where to Go in Nusa Penida?

The best places to visit in Nusa Penida can be divided into three areas: the west, east, and south. The west is probably the most popular part of Nusa Penida, which gets the most visitors. Popular sites include Kelingking Cliff & Beach, Broken Beach, Angel’s Billabong, and Crystal Bay. If you have more time and prefer a slightly less popular site to visit, then we would recommend exploring the east part. East Nusa Penida sites include: Giri Putri Cave Temple, Raja Lima Lookout, the breathtaking Atuh Beach, Diamond Beach, and Suwehan Beach. Last but not least, offering a different experience, and the beautiful part that gets the least exposure—the South region. The sites to visit in South Nusa Penida include Tembeling Natural Pool, Banah Cliff Point, and Peguyangan Waterfall.

While the beauty above the water is remarkable, the sights beneath the surface is just as awe-insipiring. Not only famous for Mola-Mola and Manta Rays, Nusa Penida is also known for its pristine coral reefs. The island’s abundant marine biodiversity makes it an ideal destination for those seeking an extraordinary snorkelling and diving experience. Nusa Penida’s popular dive sites include Crystal Bay, Gamat Bay, Malibu Point, Toya Pakeh, Mantai Point, Sental, Vertigo Point, PED, and SD. Diving in Nusa Penida can be challenging, so you need to be an advanced diver or have a minimum 20 logged dives to dive here.

Nusa Lembongan Island

Nusa Lembongan is renowned for its laid-back atmosphere and spectacular scenic landscapes. The island features crystal-clear turquoise waters, lapping white sandy beaches, and densely forested slopes. Located around 20 minutes from Nusa Penida, this small island has quickly become one of Bali’s biggest attractions.

Popular activities include strolling along the coastal paths, exploring the mangrove forest, relaxing by one of the many beautiful beaches. For sunset lovers, enjoy the stunning sunset from the Devil Tears, well-known for its picturesque tide pools and striking cliff formations.
