35m | 5 CABINS | 12 CREW

The Pelagian is a classic explorer vessel offering top-notch five-star service. The 36-meter MY Pelagian was originally built in Norway in 1965 as a stylish wide-ranging motor yacht. In the early 1980s she was transformed to support diving operations under the name Fantasea. She sailed through the Seychelles, Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean before making Indonesia her home. Following a thorough refit and modernisation, the Fantasea was rebranded as the Pelagian, aligning perfectly with the renowned standards of the Wakatobi Resort.

What truly distinguishes the Pelagian from other high-end dive liveaboards are its outstanding service and exclusivity. With a capacity to host up to ten guests, Pelagian offers five expansive staterooms, ensuring a high level of comfort. Additionally, a dedicated crew of twelve is at your disposal, ready to cater to your every need and requirements. The onboard culinary team crafts exquisite meals reminiscent of Michelin-starred dining, blending local flavours with international favourites.

Pelagian specialises in organising scuba diving trips in Wakatobi National Park and the secluded areas of Southern Sulawesi. She caters to both private charters and shared diving expeditions.

The Pelagian presents 4 types of exquisitely designed and spacious cabins to accommodate up to 10 divers. The accommodation options include 1 Master Stateroom, 2 Superlux Cabins, 1 Deluxe Cabin, and 1 Standard Cabin.

The luxurious Master suite, situated at the bow on the main deck, offers all the comforts of home. This ample suite features a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a rainforest shower, and a generously-proportioned lounge area.

The 2 Superlux Cabins offer fresh, bright spa-like settings for guests, positioned forward of the main salon, downstairs. Both cabins have queen-size beds, day beds, and ample natural light filtering through portholes.

Designed with efficiency in mind, the deluxe cabin is ideal for a couple or two dive buddies who desire their own personal space. The cabin features two beds, ample storage, and a cozy loveseat. The popular cabin lies at the stern of the yacht and has its own staircase, accessible from the main salon.

Lastly, the Standard Cabin is designed for divers who prioritise communal areas over having the largest cabin onboard. The cabin features two single beds along with built-in storage for personal belongings.

All cabins come with independent air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and ample storage space.

Communal Spaces

Onboard the Pelagian, guests can enjoy a variety of communal spaces tailored for functionality, comfort, and relaxation. These include indoor and outdoor dining areas, with the outdoor area located at the back for a breezy dining experience and dive briefings. Adjacent to the dining area, there is a salon featuring a flat-screen TV and DVD for entertainment. For those who require a workspace for camera preparation or editing, a dedicated camera room is also available onboard. There are various open and shaded deck areas to appreciate the surrounding views and unwind in comfort during the journey.

On the Pelagian yacht, diving stands as the primary activity. Guests are granted privileged entry to secluded and pristine locations, ensuring an exclusive diving experience with no other divers around. Exploratory cruises lead enthusiasts to remote reefs, lush island lagoons, and rich muck diving spots for an adventure-filled journey.
